23.76.وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

23.76. Nous avons été jusqu'à leur faire infliger Nos premières rigueurs, mais ils ne se sont pas pour autant soumis à leur Seigneur, pas plus qu'ils n'ont daigné Lui adresser des prières.

23.76 . Already have We grasped them with punishment , but they humble not themselves unto their Lord , nor do they pray ,

23.76. Walaqad akhathnahum bialAAathabi fama istakanoo lirabbihim wama yatadarraAAoona

23.77.حَتَّى إِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَاباً ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ

23.77. C'est seulement lorsque Nous ouvrirons devant eux la porte d'un châtiment plus terrible encore qu'ils se trouveront entièrement envahis par le désespoir.

23.77 . Until , when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment , behold! they are aghast thereat .

23.77. Hatta itha fatahna AAalayhim baban tha AAathabin shadeedin itha hum feehi mublisoona

23.78.وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

23.78. C'est Dieu qui a créé pour vous l'ouïe, la vue et l'intelligence. Mais vous en êtes rarement reconnaissants !

23.78 . He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts . Small thanks give ye!

23.78. Wahuwa allathee anshaa lakumu alssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idata qaleelan ma tashkuroona

23.79.وَهُوَ الَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

23.79. C'est Lui qui vous a disséminés sur la Terre, et c'est à Lui que vous ferez retour.

23.79 . And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth , and unto Him ye will be gathered .

23.79. Wahuwa allathee tharaakum fee al-ardi wa-ilayhi tuhsharoona

23.80.وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

23.80. C'est Lui qui donne la vie et qui donne la mort, et qui fait alterner la nuit et le jour. Ne pourrez-vous le comprendre?

23.80 . And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death , and His is the difference of night and day . Have ye then no sense?

23.80. Wahuwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli waalnnahari afala taAAqiloona
