51.41.وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ
51.41. Il en fut de même pour les `Âd, lorsque Nous déchaînâmes contre eux un ouragan dévastateur,
51.41 . And in ( the tribe of ) Aad ( there is a portent ) when We sent the fatal wind against them .
51.41. Wafee AAadin ith arsalna AAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema
51.42.مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ
51.42. qui ne laissait rien de ce qu'il touchait sans le réduire en poussière.
51.42 . It spared naught that it reached , but made it ( all ) as dust .
51.42. Ma tatharu min shay-in atat AAalayhi illa jaAAalat-hu kaalrrameemi
51.43.وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّى حِينٍ
51.43. Et il en fut de même pour les Thamûd, qui, avertis d'avoir à jouir pour un temps des biens de ce monde,
51.43 . And in ( the tribe of ) Thamud ( there is a portent ) when it was told them : Take your ease awhile .
51.43. Wafee thamooda ith qeela lahum tamattaAAoo hatta heenin
51.44.فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
51.44. transgressèrent l'ordre de leur Seigneur, et furent saisis par le cataclysme sous leur propre regard.
51.44 . But they rebelled against their Lord ' s decree , and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed ;
51.44. FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathat-humu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona
51.45.فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنتَصِرِينَ
51.45. C'est ainsi que, paralysés sur place, ils ne purent recevoir aucun secours.
51.45 . And they were unable to rise up , nor could they help themselves .
51.45. Fama istataAAoo min qiyamin wama kanoo muntasireena
