7.146.سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ آيَاتِيَ الَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الرُّشْدِ لاَ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الْغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ

7.146. Je priverai de Mes signes ceux qui affichent sans raison leur orgueil sur Terre, qui refusent de croire à tout signe qu'ils voient et qui, apercevant la voie de la droiture, s'en écartent obstinément , mais, voyant celle de l'égarement, ils s'y engagent résolument. Il en est ainsi parce qu'ils ont traité Nos signes de mensonges et qu'ils s'y sont montrés indifférents !»

7.146 . I shall turn away from My revelations those who magnify themselves wrongfully in the earth , and if they see each token believe it not , and if they see the way of righteousness choose it not for ( their ) way , and if they see the way of error choose it for ( their ) way . That is because they deny Our revelations and are used to disregard them .

7.146. Saasrifu AAan ayatiya allatheena yatakabbaroona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi wa-in yaraw kulla ayatin la yu/minoo biha wa-in yaraw sabeela alrrushdi la yattakhithoohu sabeelan wa-in yaraw sabeela alghayyi yattakhithoohu sabeelan thalika bi-annahum kaththaboo bi-ayatina wakanoo AAanha ghafileena

7.147.وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَلِقَاء الآخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ

7.147. Ainsi seront vaines les œuvres de ceux qui auront renié Nos signes et la vie future. Méritent-ils d'être rétribués autrement que selon leurs œuvres?

7.147 . Those who deny Our revelations and the meeting of the Hereafter , their works are fruitless . Are they requited aught save what they used to do?

7.147. Waallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatina waliqa-i al-akhirati habitat aAAmaluhum hal yujzawna illa ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

7.148.وَاتَّخَذَ قَوْمُ مُوسَى مِن بَعْدِهِ مِنْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِجْلاً جَسَداً لَّهُ خُوَارٌ أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمْ وَلاَ يَهْدِيهِمْ سَبِيلاً اتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُواْ ظَالِمِينَ

7.148. Pendant l'absence de Moïse, son peuple avait façonné avec leurs parures le corps d'un veau doué de mugissement. Ne s'étaient-ils pas rendu compte que ce veau ne pouvait ni leur parler ni leur être utile en quoi que ce soit? Toujours est-il qu'ils le prirent pour divinité, faisant ainsi preuve d'iniquité.

7.148 . And the folk of Moses , after ( he had left them ) , chose a calf ( for worship ) , ( made ) out of their ornaments , of saffron hue , which gave a lowing sound . Saw they not that it spake not unto them nor guided them to any way? They chose it , and became wrong doers .

7.148. Waittakhatha qawmu moosa min baAAdihi min huliyyihim AAijlan jasadan lahu khuwarun alam yaraw annahu la yukallimuhum wala yahdeehim sabeelan ittakhathoohu wakanoo thalimeena

7.149.وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فَي أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْاْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

7.149. Puis, complètement déçus, ils reconnurent leur erreur, et s'écrièrent : «Si notre Seigneur ne nous fait pas miséricorde et ne nous pardonne pas, nous serons très certainement du nombre des perdants.»

7.149 . And when they feared the consequences thereof and saw that they had gone astray , they said : Unless our Lord have mercy on us and forgive us , we verily are of the lost .

7.149. Walamma suqita fee aydeehim waraaw annahum qad dalloo qaloo la-in lam yarhamna rabbuna wayaghfir lana lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena

7.150.وَلَمَّا رَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفاً قَالَ بِئْسَمَا خَلَفْتُمُونِي مِن بَعْدِيَ أَعَجِلْتُمْ أَمْرَ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَلْقَى الألْوَاحَ وَأَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ أَخِيهِ يَجُرُّهُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ ابْنَ أُمَّ إِنَّ الْقَوْمَ اسْتَضْعَفُونِي وَكَادُواْ يَقْتُلُونَنِي فَلاَ تُشْمِتْ بِيَ الأعْدَاء وَلاَ تَجْعَلْنِي مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

7.150. Lorsque Moïse revint vers son peuple, il dit, plein de colère et d'amertume : «Quelle conduite lamentable a été la vôtre pendant mon absence ! Avez-vous voulu hâter le décret de votre Seigneur?» Puis, jetant les Tables, il empoigna par les cheveux son frère et se mit à le tirer vers lui. «Ô fils de ma mère !, s'écria Aaron. Ces gens-là ont profité de ma faiblesse et ont failli me tuer. Ne réjouis donc pas à mes dépens nos adversaires et ne me range pas parmi les pervers !»

7.150 . And when Moses returned unto his people , angry and grieved , he said : Evil is that ( course ) which ye took after I had left you . Would ye hasten on the judgment of your Lord? And he cast down the tablets , and he seized his brother by the head , dragging him toward him . He said : Son of my mother! Lo! the folk did judge me weak and almost killed me . Oh , make not mine enemies to triumph over me and place me not among the evil doers!

7.150. Walamma rajaAAa moosa ila qawmihi ghadbana asifan qala bi/sama khalaftumoonee min baAAdee aAAajiltum amra rabbikum waalqa al-alwaha waakhatha bira/si akheehi yajurruhu ilayhi qala ibna omma inna alqawma istadAAafoonee wakadoo yaqtuloonanee fala tushmit biya al-aAAdaa wala tajAAalnee maAAa alqawmi alththalimeena
