i find it great for people who are interesting in english as a langage to have a reserved corner on yabiladi.I am in my fist year of english studies and my project is to become why not an english teacher! So once again I'm sure that if the webmaster agrees about openning an english-speaking forum ,il will be a success.I hope that will be the case because it will be very useful for people like me who want to improve their english. thank you

Yes nawel,
I know where the city of Toulouse is, but I never had the chance to visit it, I’ve spent many vacations in other cities in France and the majority of my friends are French, mostly in the north, Lille, Arrass, Douai, and others in Paris, Strasbourg and Cean, by the way Normandy will always be my favorite of all France.
Cheers,

ps. after I wrote Yes nawel, it reminded me of a cool song by mohamed andelwehab where he sings: Ya nawel...ya nawel... have you heard of this song, because if not, and if your pseudo in nawel, then you must.

LOLL! khnouna in english is "snot". It's a slang though but it can also mean malicious person.

Dear all
We do have enough forums where you can contribute in french.

This forum is supposed to use english as the communication language. I think this need to be respected in order to allow those who are willing to improve their english writing skills. Of course this will force contributors to look after words or expresions in the dictionnary or in the internet or by asking colleagues.
Learning english offers many possibilities in getting access to other sources of information. In addition to arabic or french documents, it is helpfull to read books written by US or english authors in the field of your interest.
For instance, french writing and french views are different from the way americans look at Morocco.May be for historical reasons etc.
If you are interested in sciences, chemistry, physics...etc,english is the language number one. Most conferences are held in english. In the last 15 years, most young europeans were almost forced to learn english because their govenments saw the need.

I hope the next contributions will be written exclusively in english.
an if you don´t, you are a moroccan redneck.
Many thanks for your understanding

A Moroccan redneck!!! I like that...

I do see what you mean, by wanting this post to remain English only post, however, I don't think we can stop people who may feel they can read, but can not reply in English from doing so.
And so, like you, I hope the next contributions will be written in English, but it would not kill me if some contributions are in English.

Dear Almot
I have also no problems with reading french. I think the one who can read and understand english needs little effort to finally start writing. Once you try to write your ideas in a new language, automatically you need to make clear and do some fixing up of your own ideas. The words you are going to use needs to have the right meaning. Of course this requires more concentration.
Many messages written spontaneouslyin french (by des bavards) and on serious issues are not helpful for the forum.
take care

Hi All;
Good idea. I'm on board. As to English as the sole medium in this corner, that sounds like a push! I share the opinion of those who like to read and respond in either Eng or French...I read and respond, sometimes, in French eventhough My French laisse a desirer...if we give this a chance switching whenver needed, sooner it'll take off and pple will benefit and ultimately improve. I know I will. The language doesn't have to be perfect, at first, the quality of the discussions has to be, though. Thanks.
