Interviewed by Medi1 TV Afrique on the coronavirus situation in Morocco, Health Minister Khalid Ait Taleb said that the country should be prepared for the worst. He recalled that Moroccans must comply with the measures set up by the Ministry to counter the spread of the novel virus.
On Friday, the director of the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division at the Health Ministry shared Morocco’s plan against the novel coronavirus during a Lower House meeting. The report indicates that the risk of having more imported cases is high.
After announcing its first coronavirus case, Morocco’s health authorities said Thursday that a second national had tested positive for the virus. The patient is an 89-year-old woman who returned from Italy in February.
