3,685 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 190,416.
2,694 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 157,175.
73 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,205. 23 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 14 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 9 in the Oriental, 7 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 6 in Souss-Massa, 5 in Fès-Meknès, 4 in Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 3 in Marrakech-Safi, one death in Drâa-Tafilalet and another in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 30,036 active cases, including 699 in critical conditions. 45 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,673 new cases: 1,255 in Casablanca, 93 in Settat, 76 in Mohammedia, 73 in Berrechid, 55 in El Jadida, 45 in Nouaceur, 37 in Benslimane, 22 in Mediouna and 17 cases in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 500 new cases: 146 in Kénitra, 115 in Salé, 100 in Skhirat-Témara, 73 in Rabat, 42 in Khemisset, 18 in Sidi Kacem and 6 cases in Sidi Slimane.
The Oriental region follows with 347 new infections: 178 in Oujda-Angad, 71 in Nador, 28 in Guercif, 21 in Taourirt, 20 in Driouch, 17 in Berkane and 12 cases in Jerada. 295 cases were confirmed in Souss-Massa: 178 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 82 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 11 in Tata, 8 cases in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 8 in Taroudant and 8 others in Tiznit .
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima recorded 239 new cases: 83 in Tetouan, 68 in Tanger-Assilah, 43 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 21 in Al Hoceima, 11 in Larache, 10 cases in Ouazzane and 3 in Chefchaouen. Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 210 infections: 101 in Beni Mellal, 45 in Khouribga, 34 in Fqih Bensaleh, 20 in Azilal and 10 cases in Khénifra.
Marrakech-Safi follows with 142 new cases: 65 in Marrakech, 23 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 20 in Youssoufia, 15 in Rhamna, 10 in Essaouira, 5 in Chichaoua and 4 cases in the province of Al Haouz.
91 new confirmed cases were recorded Fès-Meknes (33 in Taza, 19 in Fès, 11 in Sefrou, 10 in Meknes, 10 in Taounate, 6 in Boulmane and 2 cases in El Hajeb) and 78 new infections were confirmed in Drâa-Tafilalet (27 in Errachidia, 26 in Midelt, 17 in Ouarzazate and 8 cases in Tinghir).
In the southern provinces, 62 infections were detected in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (46 in Laâyoune, 11 in Es-Smara and 5 in Boujdour), 30 cases were confirmed in Guelmim-Oued Noun (26 in Guelmim and 4 in Sidi Ifni), 29 and 18 others were identified in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
