Morocco claimed its first-ever gold medal at the Dance World Cup 2026 in Dublin, Ireland, thanks to dancer Youssef Mourahab, whose performance earned 90.9 points and first place in the Senior category, according to a press release issued by Casablanca-based dance school Temps'Danse.

The school represented Morocco with a delegation of 36 dancers aged 7 to 24 at the international competition, which brought together nearly 12,000 dancers from around the world.

The delegation also secured a fifth-place finish in Street Dance through Chama Benkirane, who received a Golden Ticket granting access to international training workshops, a Top 10 finish in the Commercial Group category, and several Top 15 rankings after individual dancers scored more than 83 points.
