Moroccan footballer Abderrazak Hamdallah, who currently plays for Saudi club Al-Nasr, has tested positive for the coronavirus, AFP reports.
The 29-year-old striker announced his infection in a tweet. «I was confirmed with the coronavirus, thank God, a speedy recovery for everyone and may God protect you from al harm wherever you are», he wrote.
Hamdallah’s infection comes after he played, Tuesday, against Al-Ahly, as part of the semi-finals of the Saudi King’s Cup, the same source added.
For the record, Hamdallah joined Al-Nasr in August 2018. By April 2019, he had scored 100 league goals, a record since the league became professional in 2007.
