4,115 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 353,803.
3,740 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 302,314.
50 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,789. 17 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 6 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra,, 6 in the Oriental, 5 in Fès-Meknès, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 3 in Souss-Massa, 2 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 1 death in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab and another in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.
The country has 45,700 active cases, including 1,041 in critical conditions. 91 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 1,601 cases: 1,304 in Casablanca, 72 in Mohammedia, 66 in El Jadida, 44 in Settat, 36 in Berrechid, 35 in Nouaceur , 32 in Médiouna, 10 in Benslimane and 2 cases in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 704 cases: 259 in Salé, 130 in Skhirat-Témara, 90 in Kénitra, 78 in Rabat, 53 in Khemisset, 51 in Sidi Kacem and 43 cases in Sidi Slimane.
Souss-Massa follows with 544 new cases: 221 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 141 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 80 in Tiznit, 69 in Taroudant and 33 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. 375 new infections were recorded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma: 116 in Tanger-Assilah, 82 in Tétouan, 46 in Al Hoceima, 45 in Larache, 29 in M'diq-Fnideq, 28 in Chefchaouen, 25 in Ouazzane and 4 cases in Fahs Anjra.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 256 new cases: 139 in Marrakech, 35 in Essaouira, 32 in Safi, 22 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 16 in Chichaoua, 5 in Al Haouz, 4 in Youssoufia and 3 cases in the province of Rhamna. The Oriental region recorded 152 new infections: 76 in Oujda-Angad, 25 in Nador, 17 in Taourirt, 11 in Berkane, 9 in Driouch, 8 in Guercif 26, 5 in Jerada and 1 case in Figuig.
The region of Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 140 new cases (66 in Guelmim, 43 in Tan Tan, 24 in Assa Zag and 7 cases in Sidi Ifni) while Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra confirmed 136 new infections (123 in Laâyoune, 7 in Es-Smara and 6 cases in Boujdour).
83 cases were recorded in Fès-Meknes (29 in Fez, 24 in Taza, 10 in Meknes, 6 in Sefrou, 5 in Ifrane, 4 in Taounate, 3 in El Hajeb and 2 cases in Moulay Yacoub) and 78 others in Drâa-Tafilalet (34 in Errachidia, 21 in Tinghir, 12 in Midelt, 8 in Zagora and 3 cases in Ouarzazate).
Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 23 infections (9 in Fqih Bensaleh, 6 in Beni Mellal, 4 in Khouribga, 2 cases in Khénifra and 2 others in Azilal), while 23 others were confirmed in the province of Oued Ed -Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
