2,919 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 379,657.
3,608 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 331,301.
61 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 6,245. 19 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 15 in Souss-Massa, 9 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 5 in the Oriental, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 3 in Fès-Meknes, 2 in Tangier -Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 2 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra, 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 42,111 active cases, including 940 in critical conditions. 80 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 799 cases: 551 in Casablanca, 82 in Settat, 60 in Mohammedia, 44 in El Jadida, 24 in Nouaceur, 20 in Benslimane, 17 in Berrechid and 1 to Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 629 cases: 249 in Skhirat-Témara, 141 in Kénitra, 107 in Salé, 82 in Rabat, 44 in Khémisset, 4 in Sidi Slimane and 2 in Sidi Kacem.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 337 new cases: 185 in Marrakech, 44 in Essaouira, 42 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 20 in Chichaoua, 17 in Safi, 13 in Al Haouz, 8 in Youssoufia and 8 in Rehamna. Souss-Massa has 317 cases: 98 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 89 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 46 in Taroudant, 44 in Tiznit, 31 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 9 in Tata.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 239 infections in 24 hours: 105 in Tanger-Assilah, 41 in Larache, 38 in M'diq-Fnideq, 29 in Tétouan, 14 in Ouezzane, 11 in Chefchaouen and 1 in Al Hoceïma. The Oriental region follows with 161 cases: 57 in Oujda-Angad, 28 in Berkane, 23 in Taourirt, 18 in Driouch, 12 in Figuig, 9 in Nador, 7 in Guercif and 7 in Jerada.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 124 new infections: 46 in Khouribga, 35 in Beni Mellal, 21 in Khénifra, 14 in Fqih Bensalah and 8 in Azilal. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 118 cases: 116 in Laâyoune and 2 in Boujdour.
Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 84: 55 in Guelmim, 18 in Sidi Ifni, 10 in Tan Tan and 1 in Assa Zag. Fès-Meknes confirmed 73 cases: 26 in Fez, 10 in Sefrou, 10 in Meknes, 10 in Taounate, 7 in Taza, 6 in Ifrane, 3 in Boulemane and 1 in El Hajeb.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 26 were confirmed: 12 in Errachidia, 11 in Tinghir, 2 in Midelt and 1 in Zagora. Dakhla-Oued Oued Dahab confirmed 12 new cases, all in Oued Ed-Dahab.
