This week, Morocco expects to receive 17 million doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines. 10 million of these doses are developed by China National Pharmaceutical Group Sinopharm, while the rest is produced by British-Swedish multinational pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company.
According to Arabic-language newspaper Al Ahdath Al Maghrebia, the doses will be delivered to the Kingdom before the end of this week. The same source indicates that these batches will make it possible to vaccinate 8.5 million people, initially.
On Thursday, Health Minister Khalid Ait Taleb announced the acquisition of a total of 65 million doses of the two vaccines approved by Morocco.
