1,164 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 463,706.
1,346 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 439,301.
33 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,076. 7 of these deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 7 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 4 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 3 in Fès-Meknès, 2 in Souss-Massa, 2 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 1 in the Oriental, 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun.
The country has 16,329 active cases, including 797 in critical conditions. 68 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 442 infections: 344 in Casablanca, 30 in El Jadida, 24 in Mohammedia, 21 in Nouaceur, 13 in Settat, 5 in Berrechid, 4 in Mediouna and 1 in Benslimane. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 284 new cases: 129 in Tanger-Assilah, 54 in Al Hoceima, 45 in Tétouan, 35 in M'diq-Fnideq, 9 in Larache, 7 in Chefchaouen, 4 in Fahs Anjra and 1 in Ouazzane.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 125 cases: 55 in Salé, 21 in Skhirat-Témara, 21 in Rabat, 17 in Kénitra, 6 in Sidi Kacem, 4 in Khemisset and 1 in Sidi Slimane. 84 new infections were recorded in the Oriental region: 29 in Berkane, 24 in Nador, 19 in Driouch, 10 in Oujda-Angad and 2 in Taourirt.
Souss-Massa confirmed 74 cases: 47 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 16 in Inzegane-Aït Melloul, 10 in Tiznit and 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. Marrakech-Safi recorded 52 infections: 14 in Marrakech, 13 in Essaouira, 9 in Chichaoua, 8 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 4 in Al Haouz, 3 in Safi and 1 in Rhamna.
34 confirmed cases were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (18 in Errachidia, 6 in Ouarzazate, 4 in Zagora, 3 in Midelt and 3 in Tinghir), 27 in Fès-Meknes (11 in Fès, 9 in Meknes , 3 in El Hajeb, 2 in Sefrou, 1 in Taza and 1 in Ifrane) as well as 16 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (7 in Fqih Bensaleh, 5 in Beni Mellal and 4 in Khouribga).
In the southern provinces, 11 infections were confirmed in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (9 in Laâyoune, 1 in Es-Smara and 1 in Boujdour), 10 in Guelmim-Oued Noun (6 in Guelmim, 2 in Sidi Ifni and 2 in Tan Tan) and 5 in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
