The Moroccan authorities started, Monday, the distribution process of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, preparing for the launch of the vaccination campaign, expected to begin this week, MAP wrote.
The distribution operation was launched in Casablanca this morning, with trucks loaded with vaccine doses. The doses will be delivered to the different regions of the country.
For the record, Morocco received on Friday 2 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, developed in partnership with the Oxford University and manufactured in India. The Kingdom is expected to receive the first batches of the Sinopharm vaccine on Wednesday.
Morocco has ordered 66 million of vaccine doses to vaccinate 33 million inhabitants against the Coronavirus.
