851 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 469,990.
790 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 447,866.
22 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,246. 11 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 3 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 1 in the Oriental, 1 in Souss-Massa and 1 in Fès-Meknes.
The country has 13,878 active cases, including 738 in critical conditions. 59 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 297 cases: 236 in Casablanca, 19 in Nouaceur, 15 in El Jadida, 14 in Mohammedia, 6 in Médiouna, 3 in Settat, 3 in Berrechid and 1 in Benslimane. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 206 infections in 24 hours: 67 in Tanger-Assilah, 55 in Al Hoceïma, 39 in Tétouan, 19 in Chefchaouen, 14 in Larache, 5 in M'diq-Fnidek, 6 in Ouezzane and 1 at Al Fahs Anjra.
The Oriental region recorded 96 cases: 43 in Nador, 21 in Driouch, 16 in Oujda-Angad, 15 in Berkane and 1 in Jerada. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 81 cases: 22 in Salé, 35 in Skhirat-Témara, 8 in Kénitra, 8 in Rabat, 4 in Sidi Slimane, 3 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khemisset.
Souss-Massa has 56 cases: 26 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 22 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 5 in Tiznit, 2 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 1 in Taroudant. Marrakech-Safi recorded 49 new cases: 31 in Marrakech, 10 in Essaouira, 4 Safi, 2 in Al Haouz and 2 in Kelâa des Sraghna.
In Drâa-Tafilalet, 18 cases were recorded: 7 in Ouarzazate, 5 in Errachidia, 3 in Tinghir, 2 in Midelt and 1 in Zagora. Fès-Meknes confirmed 17 cases: 5 in Fez, 5 in Taza, 3 in Meknes, 2 in Taounat and 2 in El Hajeb. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab confirmed 12, all in Oued-Ed Dahab
Laayoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 10 cases: 8 in Laâyoune and 2 in Boujdour. Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 8 new infections: 3 in Khouribga, 2 in Beni Mellal, 2 in Khénifra and 1 in Azilal. Guelmim-Oued Noun had 1 case in Tan Tan.
