421 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 510,889. 4,985,094 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,254,879 people have received the second.
522 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 497,105.
5 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 9,020. 2 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Rabat-Sale-Kenitra, 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 4,761 active cases, including 343 in critical conditions. 13 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 284 cases: 215 in Casablanca, 20 in Nouaceur, 14 in Berrechid, 10 El Jadida, 9 in Médiouna, 9 in Mohammedia, 4 in Settat and 3 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 35 cases: 12 in Salé, 11 in Skhirat-Témara, 5 in Kénitra, 4 in Sidi Kacem and 3 in Rabat.
Marrakech-Safi follows with 25 cases: 22 in Marrakech and 3 in Essaouira. Souss-Massa identified 20:16 in Inezgane-Aït Melloul, 3 in Taroudant, 1 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 15 cases: 14 in Laâyoune and 1 in Boujdou.
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 13 cases: 7 in Tangier-Assilah, 3 in Tetouan, 2 in Ouezzane and 1 in Al Hoceïma. The Oriental region recorded 12 cases: 8 in Oujda-Angad and 4 in Nador.
7 infections were recorded in Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, all in Oued Ed-Dahab. Drâa-Tafilalet follows with 5 cases in Errachidia. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 3 cases: 2 in Khouribga and 1 in Béni Mellal. Guelmim-Oued Noun recorded 2 in Guelmim.
