56 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 511,912. 5,107,128 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,282,269 people have received the second.
209 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 498,624.
4 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,032. 2 deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in the Oriental and 1 in Marrakech-Safi.
The country has 4,256 active cases, including 302 in critical conditions. 20 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 21 cases: 17 in Casablanca, 2 in Nouaceur, 1 in Mohammedia and 1 in El Jadida. Then comes Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra with 11 cases: 8 in Laâyoune and 3 in Boujdour.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 8 cases: 3 in Skhirat-Témara, 2 in Rabat, 2 in Salé and 1 in Khemisset. 5 infections were recorded in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane (Souss-Massa).
The Oriental region recorded 4 new infections: 3 in Guercif and 1 in Driouch. Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 3 cases: 2 in Tetouan and 1 in M'Diq-Fnideq.
2 cases were in Marrakech-Safi (1 in Marrakech and 1 in the province of Al Haouz), 1 in Khouribga (Beni-Mellal-Khénifra) and 1 in El Hajeb (Fès- Meknes).
