238 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 514,670. 5,994,379 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,441,667 people have received the second.
513 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 502,205.
3 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,091. 1 of these deaths was recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Marrakech-Safi and 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima.
The country has 3,374 active cases, including 212 in critical conditions. 14 of them are on ventilators.
The region of Casablanca-Settat leads with 175 cases: 138 in Casablanca, 12 in Settat, 11 in Nouaceur, 7 in Mohammedia, 5 in Berrechid and 2 in Médiouna. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 27 cases: 10 in Salé, 9 in Kénitra, 6 in Rabat and 2 in Skhirat-Témara.
Souss Massa follows with 11 cases, all recorded in Agadir-Iada-Ou-Tanane. In addition, 11 infections were identified in Marrakech-Safi: 5 in Kelaat Sraghna, 3 in Marrakech and 2 in Essaouira.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 7 new cases: 5 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in M'Diq-Fnideq and 1 in Tétouan. The Oriental has identified, for its part, 4 new infections: 2 in Nador and 2 in Driouch.
There are also 3 cases identified in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra) and one confirmed infection in Midelt (Drâa-Tafilalet). No new case was recorded in the Guelmim-Oued Noun, Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, Fès-Meknes and Beni Mellal-Khénifra regions.
