Covid-19 in Morocco : 358 new infections and 6 deaths on Friday

358 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 516,449. 7,467,468 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,817,830 people have received the second.

318 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 504,757.

6 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,115. 3 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 1 in Souss-Massa and 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra.

The country has 2,577 active cases, including 186 in critical conditions. 8 of them are on ventilators.

Casablanca-Settat recorded 186 cases: 145 in Casablanca, 19 in Nouaceur, 9 in Mohammedia, 8 in Médiouna, 2 in Berrechid, 2 in El Jadida and 1 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 45 cases: 17 in Sale, 11 in Skhirat-Témara, 10 in Kénitra, 6 in Rabat and 1 in Khemisset.

Marrakech-Safi follows with 33 cases: 29 in Marrakech and 4 in Essaouira. Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma confirmed 33: 18 in Ouezzane, 5 in M'diq-Fnidek, 5 in Tetouan, 4 in Tangier-Assilah and 1 in Al Hoceïma. Souss-Massa recorded 29: 25 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane, 1 in Inezgane-Aït Melloul, 1 in Tiznit, 1 in Taroudant and 1 in Chtouka-Aït Baha.

Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 8 cases: 4 in Laâyoune, 3 in Tarfaya and 1 in Boujdour. The Oriental region confirmed 6: 3 in Berkane, 2 in Oujda-Angad and 1 in Guercif. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab confirmed 6 in Oued Ed-Dahab. Fès-Meknes follows with 5 cases: 3 in Fez, 1 in Taza and 1 in El Hajeb.

Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 4: 2 in Errachidia, 1 in Zagora and 1 in Tinghir. Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 3: 2 in Guelmim and 1 in Tan Tan.
