On Wednesday, February 14th, members of the National Judicial Police Brigade apprehended a 36-year-old French citizen of Algerian origin in Marrakech. The individual was subject to an international arrest warrant issued by French authorities for alleged involvement in drug trafficking, money laundering, and unlawful firearm possession.

According to a security source, the arrest reflects ongoing international cooperation in security matters and efforts by Moroccan security services to pursue individuals wanted for transnational crimes.

Interpol's database confirmed the individual's «red notice» status, indicating French authorities sought him for participation in a drug trafficking network, involvement in money laundering activities linked to the network, and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
