Moroccan-French entrepreneur Faouzi El Annajah, founder of the NamX HUV, announced that the prototype of the car will be presented in Paris between May 22 and 25.
«The NamX HUV prototype with V8 Hydrogen Engine Technology version will be presented to the public for the first time at VivaTech in Paris, with the famous Capsule Distribution System», Najah said.
«The entire NamX team looks forward to meeting you and discussing about this new era for the automobile and hydrogen distribution», he wrote on X.
«This is also the last static public event before the road tests», he continued, and announced that NamX «has been nominated for Tech 2024 in the 'Mobility & Smart Cities' category».
Co-designed with Italian automotive design firm Pininfarina, the NamX is a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

The car is «powered by an electric motor», «but instead of batteries, it has a fuel cell that generates its own electricity», Najah told Yabiladi, adding that the car benefits from the «hydrogen advantage», as «it can travel for 800 kilometers and the recharging time takes only three minutes».
Once produced, the SUV will be «the world's first car with a patented removable fuel tank system that promises to revolutionize the clean mobility experience and make hydrogen fuel widely available», according to NamX, which noted that the vehicle is «part of a large-scale industrial and technological project that aspires to reconcile human mobility and environmental conservation with green hydrogen».
NamX says it has «the largest industrial and technical partners in the world to have the project ready for delivery by the end of 2025», and continues that it aims «to establish production plants for this project between Europe and Africa and in particular between Europe and Morocco».
The car will be marketed in two versions: The first is a rear-engine car with 300 horsepower for a top speed of 200 km / h, and goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds, and the second is a four-wheel drive car with 550 horsepower for a top speed of 250 km / h, and goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds.
