Morocco's national carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), announced the relaunch of its Casablanca-Sao Paulo route starting December 7th with three weekly frequencies. The announcement was made in a press release on Friday.

Flights will depart Casablanca on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 4:40 PM (local time), arriving in Sao Paulo at 10:20 PM (local time). Return flights will leave Sao Paulo on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 12:20 AM (local time), landing in Casablanca at 1:15 PM. These direct flights will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

«We are delighted to be resuming the direct Casablanca-Sao Paulo air route, suspended since the health crisis», said Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc. «It aligns with our development plan and will strengthen our long-haul network, marking our return to the Latin American continent».

«This route will facilitate travel for business and leisure travelers from both continents, while also meeting the expectations of European tourists wishing to plan combined trips to Africa and Latin America», he added.

The relaunch of this route, connecting the economic and financial capitals of both countries, meets the growing demand from businesspeople and tourists on both sides of the Atlantic. Additionally, the move supports the Kingdom's major projects, including the 2030 FIFA World Cup, to be held jointly by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.
