Royal Air Maroc Boeing 737 skids off runway at Monrovia airport

A Royal Air Maroc (RAM) Boeing 737-800 skidded off the runway at Monrovia International Airport in Liberia on Saturday, August 17, 2024. No injuries were reported.

The flight, which was traveling from Casablanca to the Liberian capital, experienced the incident early in the morning (05:15 GMT) shortly after landing. The aircraft suddenly veered off course on runway 4 at Monrovia International Airport before returning to the center of the runway.

Airport services quickly intervened, and the aircraft was towed back to the tarmac.
