Moroccan cross-border logistics startup has secured a $300,000 pre-seed funding from Witamax, a private backed Startup Investment company launched with successful Entrepreneur club deal in Morocco.

Colis plans to use the funding to strengthen its presence across Morocco’s five largest regions and expand into six European countries. It also has ambitions to grow in West Africa.

The startup is gearing up for another fundraising round, set for early 2026, aiming to capture a larger share of the logistics market, according to a report by Tech Point from October.

Founded in 2022, Colis has already delivered over 50,000 parcels to more than 55 destinations across six European countries. The logistics company primarily serves individuals with family connections between Morocco and Europe, as well as small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in sectors like cosmetics, artisanal goods, and organic products.

With plans to increase its reach among SMEs from various industries, Colis aims to facilitate connections between these businesses and their European clientele.

«Our goal is to become a key logistics player between Africa and Europe, delivering innovative tech solutions to a rapidly evolving industry», said Issam Darui, CEO of Colis.

Before its latest $300,000 funding, Colis.ma had secured $50,000 from African investor The Baobab Network after participating in their accelerator program. In February 2024, it also received a $45,000 grant, further supporting its growth trajectory.
