Ten days after his disappearance, the body of a 25-year-old Moroccan man was found inside a well on a farm in Villajoyosa, in southeastern Spain, covered with stones and grass.

According to Spanish media, the missing young man was named Amine, and he was found in a well five meters deep after his cousin Zouhair decided to search for him in that area.

Preliminary investigations suggest that two people who were illegally staying on the farm, a Moroccan man and a Russian woman, may be connected to the incident. According to Zouhair, his cousin had been visiting the man in question to «drink and smoke», reinforcing suspicions about the latter's role in the incident.

The Civil Guard and local police were immediately notified, and a rescue team was sent to retrieve the body. The family of the victim, who had been living in Villajoyosa for ten years, confirmed that the death was a homicide.
