Standard Liège's Moroccan forward, Soufiane Benjdida, has joined RWD Molenbeek on loan until the end of the season. The 23-year-old striker, who came through Raja Casablanca's youth system, will strengthen RWDM's attacking options, with the deal including a potential buy option for the former Morocco U23 international.

According to Belgian news agency Belga, Benjdida joined Standard's development team, SL16, in the summer of 2023, where he scored eight goals in 23 matches. His performance earned him a promotion to Standard's first team, where he made 16 Pro League appearances and scored twice before coach Ivan Leko reduced his playing time in recent months.

RWDM's official website describes Benjdida as a fast, technical attacker who becomes the third Moroccan player to join the Brussels club this season. He is expected to form RWDM's forward line alongside Mickaël Biron and Piotr Parzyszek, with the team currently positioned third in the Challenger Pro League standings.
