A Dracula in Morocco. In the middle of the day, under bright sunbeams—this is how surfers like it. The name refers to a surfing spot, an exposed reef break in central Morocco. Dracula is a wave located a few miles up the coast from Taghazout, the surfing village near Agadir.

Surfers call it Dracula because of its «teeth». Like the infamous vampire, it has «strong rips and sharp rocks», writes the surfing platform The Inertia. Definitely not for beginners.

On surfing forecast sites, Dracula is described as an exposed reef break that often delivers. It is favored in winter, especially in December, with the best wind direction coming from the east.

Dracula is even rated as one of the best surfing destinations in Morocco. For those planning to visit, it is located between Taghazout and Tamri, the banana village.
