The BLS Rabat center for outsourcing Schengen residence permit applications will begin accepting renewal applications without a prior appointment starting February 24, 2025. However, this option is subject to specific conditions and a weekly quota. It applies to individuals who have been granted a one-year visa within the last four years.
Applicants can visit BLS Rabat from Monday to Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with a copy of their most recent visa, along with the usual renewal application. Those renewing two-year or longer visas issued within the last four years may also apply without an appointment during the same hours. Meanwhile, holders of a three-year or longer visa issued in the last four years can do so only on Fridays, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Additionally, the center has extended this option to academic visa applications, which can be submitted without an appointment, subject to a daily quota. Students who have already scheduled an online appointment may also submit their complete applications without waiting for their scheduled date.
For all other applicants, appointments must still be booked through the usual BLS Rabat web platform.
