The digital platform TijarIA, designed to revolutionize Moroccan foreign trade, was officially launched on Friday, March 7, 2025, in Rabat. The ceremony, presided over by Omar Hejira, Secretary of State to the Minister of Industry and Trade, responsible for Foreign Trade, brought together representatives from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), the Moroccan Association of Exporters (ASMEX), professional federations, and key industry stakeholders.

Available 24/7, TijarIA provides fast, personalized responses to economic operators. Powered by artificial intelligence, it centralizes an extensive document database and streamlines commercial exchange processes, significantly reducing time and costs. This strategic initiative aligns with Morocco's goal of modernizing its foreign trade and enhancing its integration into global value chains.

The platform is the result of extensive consultations conducted as part of the 2025-2027 roadmap for the sector. Developed by the Secretariat of State for Foreign Trade in collaboration with the PortNet single-window system, TijarIA is designed to meet the expectations of economic operators by providing simplified access to a wide range of essential services:

Regulations: Information on controlled products, import/export licenses, anti-dumping and safeguard measures.

Trade Agreements: Data on customs duties, rules of origin, applicable standards in destination markets, and free trade agreements, including the AfCFTA.

Personalized Assistance: Detailed responses on taxes, required documents, and applicable standards.

Guides and Procedures: Access to regulatory and user guides (PortNet, CE, ASMEX), tariff quota sheets, and the Investment Charter.

Initially, TijarIA will be launched as a pilot project before being rolled out to the wider public.
