The Insurance and Social Welfare Supervisory Authority (ACAPS) launched the «Emergence» program on Thursday, an initiative aimed at supporting the digital transition of the insurance sector in Morocco.
Designed as a space for exchange and strategic reflection, this program is based on a collaborative approach involving various market players. The goal is to identify innovative and high-impact solutions for the sector's development, according to an ACAPS statement.
Spanning workshops organized from April 7 to May 30, 2025, «Emergence» leverages the expertise of international speakers and the analysis of concrete feedback. Participants will benefit from a structured framework for reflection, enriched by the contribution of tech talents who will work on modeling use cases in the form of prototypes.
By promoting dialogue between experts and industry professionals, this program aims to strengthen synergies and support the transformations of the insurance market at a time when technological innovation is redefining business models and policyholder expectations.
Driven by the Innovation & Insurtech unit, created in January 2023, «Emergence» reflects ACAPS's commitment to modernizing the sector, combining competitiveness and consumer protection. With this initiative, the Authority asserts its intention to anticipate market developments and ensure an environment conducive to innovation and growth in the Moroccan insurance sector.
