The national team of local players, born in 2000 and later, clinched a victory against Burkina Faso with a 2-1 scoreline on Saturday at Kenitra's municipal stadium in a friendly encounter.
Bouchaïb Arrasi netted the first goal for the national team in the 58th minute, followed by Younes Elkaabi, who doubled the advantage in the 62nd minute.
A second face-off between the two teams is scheduled for next Thursday in Kenitra at 6:00 PM. These matches are part of the preparation for the African Nations Championship for local players (CHAN), set to be co-hosted next month by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
