In the early hours of Friday, Sidi Ifni's national security forces successfully intercepted an international drug trafficking and illegal sea migration operation, seizing 1 ton and 922 kilograms of cannabis resin, according to a security source.
The police intervention led to the capture of an inflatable boat, equipped with two engines, on a beach approximately five kilometers from Sidi Ifni, en route to Tiznit. Onboard were seven individuals, gasoline jerricans, and 50 bales of drugs weighing a total of 1 ton and 922 kilograms, as detailed by the same source.
