Senior police officer ends life with service weapon in Agadir, investigation underway

In a tragic incident on the morning of Monday, September 15, a Senior Police Officer in Agadir took his own life using his service weapon.

According to a security source, forensic investigations and ballistic analysis revealed that the officer was found dead in his home in Agadir's Al-Mohammadi neighborhood, with a gunshot wound inflicted by his service pistol.

The Agadir Security Directorate has launched a judicial investigation, overseen by the relevant public prosecutor's office, to uncover the full circumstances, details, and motives surrounding this incident.
