The National Authority for Integrity, Prevention, and Combating Corruption has decided to suspend the execution of a contract related to the creation of a «Corruption Risk Map in the Health Sector», following allegations of a conflict of interest involving the company awarded the project.
In an official statement, the Authority announced that its president had decided to temporarily halt the issuance of a service order to the contracting party and to refer the contract file, along with all related documents, to the National Committee for Public Orders for review in accordance with applicable legal and evaluative provisions.
The president also ordered a thorough investigation into the circulating allegations, in line with constitutional provisions and international standards on the prevention of conflicts of interest, ensuring full compliance with the principles of transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity.
The Authority stated that it will inform the public of the final decision once its council concludes deliberations, taking into account the findings of the National Committee for Public Orders and the outcomes of the relevant review procedures.
