The Moroccan national team arrived at Rabat–Salé Airport in the early hours of Sunday, July 12, 2026, after returning from the U.S. city of Boston, where they concluded their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign. The tournament was jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Atlas Lions received a warm welcome on arrival, with dozens of supporters gathering at the airport to wave Moroccan flags and chant in support of the players and head coach Mohamed Ouahbi.
Morocco reached the quarter-finals of the tournament, finishing as the best-performing African and Arab team at the 2026 World Cup.
