Moroccan midfielder Anouar El Azzouzi joins Frosinone until 2029

Morocco-born midfielder Anouar El Azzouzi has joined Italian club Frosinone on a free transfer from Germany's Fortuna Düsseldorf, signing a contract until June 30, 2029, the Serie A side announced on Monday.

The 25-year-old, who holds both Moroccan and Dutch nationality, arrives after one season with Fortuna Düsseldorf, having previously played for PEC Zwolle, FC Dordrecht, Vitesse and NEC in the Netherlands.

The move marks his first spell in Italian football. A central midfielder, he has more than 140 senior league appearances in the Netherlands and Germany.
