Three people died on Monday, including a teenager, a young child selling doughnuts on Oued Laou beach and an elderly, and more than 25 others were injured, with varying severities, after a bulldozer toppled onto a passenger vehicle in the Ouchtam area, between Tetouan and Oued Laou.
According to «local media sources», the incident occurred around 1 p.m. when the bulldozer slipped from its transporter and crashed onto a vehicle heading towards the beach.
Additionally, a grand taxi traveling the same route was damaged, injuring several passengers. The injured were quickly transported to Saniat Rmel Regional Hospital in Tetouan for urgent medical attention.
The Royal Gendarmerie, local authorities, and Civil Protection services responded promptly, conducting rescue operations and evacuating the injured. An investigation has been launched to determine the causes and details of the accident.
