An «imminent» attack has been thwarted on Friday by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ), 2M.ma reports. The online newspaper announced that : «The BCIJ forces arrested 3 men on Friday morning in Jamaa Lamzaouk neighborhood in Tetouan». These men are aged between 20 and 25 years old.

The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations has dismantled a militant cell that had guns and electronic equipments. The judicial section of the Moroccan domestic intelligence service has actively tracked suspected militants since its creation in 2015 contributing in the arrest of 43 terrorist cells so far.

On April the 12th, the Central Bureau presided by Khiame announced the arrest of 7 individuals who are suspected of being inspired by the radical group Islamic state. «Members of the group were operating in Fes and Moulay Yaacoub. The first investigations suggest that the cell was connected to another group that was dismantled by the authorities for recruiting terrorist militants», said the Ministry of Interior in a press release.
