The Moroccan cycling team will compete in the 2017 UCI Road World Championships scheduled for 17-24 September in Bergen (southern Norway), according to the Royal Moroccan Cycling Federation (FRMC).
This qualification comes after the results of the national senior, under-23, and junior teams that will take part of this year’s edition. And it was also included in the program contract concluded by the FRMC with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Moroccan National Olympic Committee.
The UCI Road World Championships is a yearly event that takes place every September. It will feature 12 races over 9 days, several cyclosportive events and a major cultural programme. There are three diciplines; Team Time Trial for the professional UCI Teams, individual Time Trials and finally the Road Races.
