Morocco’s Marita Group announced, Tuesday 17th of July, that it is launching a «Marvel Comics» project in the Kingdom with a local identity in partnership with Marvel and the comic book editor Stan Lee.
Marvel is one of the leading American comic book publishers. The company created the famous superheroes, including Spider-Man, X-Men and Iron Man, among others.
The executive chairman of Marita Group, Nasser Sayed, also announced the creation of a company in the United States that will be in charge of the development of the Moroccan Marvel which will be affiliated to the holding company.
He added that Stan Lee will visit the kingdom on August 21st to «develop this new dream, which is finding a Moroccan identity in Walt Disney».
The Marita Group is a Moroccan holding active in the fields of industry and services and in sectors related to renewable energy, the environment and real estate. It is also specialized in the manufacturing of buses, cars and e-bikes, as well as «smart» buildings.
