A Moroccan national has been denied Spanish citizenship for declaring that Ceuta belongs to the North African Kingdom, reports El Faro de Ceuta.

When she appeared before the judges, the Moroccan woman did not know the answer to some key questions. In addition to not knowing the president of Catalonia nor the typical dance of the region, the candidate said that Ceuta belonged to Morocco.

Therefore, the court decided that she «was not integrated enough to be granted» the Spanish citizenship, adding that it is «inconceivable and unacceptable» not to know important information about the country she wants to be part of.
