Authorities arrest 50 Sub-Saharan migrants in Al Hoceima

Moroccan authorities arrested, Thursday, around 50 irregular Sub-Saharan migrants near Al Hoceima’s coast. According to the Spanish news agency EFE, these migrants were planning to reach Spain using a boat.

These migrants were arrested at the Boumehdi beach. They were taken to the facilities of the Royal Gondarmerie in Imzouren, the agency said, adding that an investigation has been opened by the authorities following the arrest.

For the record, this group of migrants included three women.
