Morocco’s Sofiane Boufal beats Messi and becomes LaLiga’s best dribbler

Moroccan-French winger Sofiane Boufal is LaLiga’s best dribbler for this season. Boufal who currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Spanish club Celta de Vigo has the most successful dribbles in the season with 144, ahead of Argentinian star Lionel Messi (133) and Chile’s Fabian Orellana 81, Huffpost Maghreb reported.

Boufal’s achievement was celebrated on Twitter by LaLiga’s account, which published his photo with a caption saying that he is this season’s best dribbler.

The 25-year-old player is on loan from Southampton of the Premiere league. In July 2018, Boufal was loaned by Celta de Vigo for 2018-19 campaign. Boufal is also an Atlas Lion as he made five appearances with the Moroccan national football club.
