The Athletics Integrity Unit, a body founded to combat doping in the sport of athletics, announced, Wednesday, that Moroccan long-distance runner Abderrahmane Kachir has been suspended for violating anti-doping rules, Inside the Games reports.
The body founded in 2017 by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has decided to provisionally suspend the athlete after it detected the presence of ibutamoren in his body.
The Moroccan runner is ranked 1,665th by IAAF’s men’s overall ranking and 118th in the men’s road running standing, the sports’ platform wrote.
