German-Moroccan boxer Ottman Azaitar has big plans for Morocco when it comes to MMA. The fighter alongside his brother Abu Azaitar sees the Kingdom as the perfect African country to host Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events, MMA Junkie reports.

«We are working with Ali Abdelaziz to bring the UFC to Morocco», Azaitar said during a Dominance MMA media event held Tuesday.

«UFC have to come to Africa, we showed that we are able to take over in the UFC, and now we want the UFC to come to Africa, and welcome in Morocco», he added. For the record, Azaitar played one MMA fight in Morocco in 2018.

Born in 1990 in Germany, Azaitar moved from boxing to Thai boxing and kickboxing, in the beginning of his career, before joining the international MMA organization «Brave Combat Federation». By the end of 2018, he retired from the Brave belt and joined the American mixed martial arts promotion company based in Las Vegas UFC.
