The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco jumps to 37

In a press release issued Monday evening, the Health Ministry announced eight new confirmed coronavirus cases. The eight patients bring the number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Morocco to 37.

The new cases are all imported but one, the Ministry said, adding that they are located in Meknes, Marrakech, Casablanca, Fez and Rabat.

The tests to confirm the new cases were carried out at the National Institute of Hygiene in Rabat and at the Pasteur Institute in Morocco.

In the same communiqué, the Health Ministry urged Moroccans to respect «health regulations and preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities with patriotism and responsibility».
