All donations in kind received by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity from Moroccan benefactors will be made available to the ministerial departments of Health and Interior, in order to support efforts to fight the coronavirus and reduce the impact on vulnerable populations, the Foundation said Monday.
«In the context of the general mobilization that Morocco is witnessing in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19, and following the national momentum of solidarity initiated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, Moroccan benefactors have expressed their support in the form of donations in kind, offered to the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity», the Foundation said in a statement.
While expressing its thanks for all these people and their act of solidarity in favor of deprived populations, the Foundation underlined that «all the donations received will be made available by the Foundation to the ministerial departments of Health and the Interior, in order to support the efforts to fight the coronavirus and reduce the impact on vulnerable populations».
In addition, the Foundation recalled that it is imperative to follow the recommendations of the health authorities and to respect the confinement measures put in place for the safety of all Moroccan citizens.
