The Ministry of Health denied on Monday the figures posted on social media and claiming the setting up by the ministry of some 333 rapid response teams and toll free numbers, noting that this information is unfounded and does not belong to the ministry.

In an update to clarify, the department recalled the official communication numbers set up either to inquire about Covid-19 or in case of doubt about the appearance of symptoms of this disease, namely "Allô Epidemiological Watch" (0801004747), "Allô 141" for Emergency Medical Assistance (SAMU) and "Allô 300".

These three services are equipped with automatic call distributors to limit the waiting time, explained the ministry, announcing that health teams ensure the processing of requests from citizens 24/7, while directing potential cases to dedicated centers depending on the region.

In this regard, the ministry once again called on citizens not to give credit to rumors and not to spread them given their negative impact.
