Morocco records 146 recoveries as the number of confirmed coronavirus cases jumps to 5,153

100 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,153, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 42,684 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 180, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 1,799.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 1,326 in Casablanca-Settat, 1,090 in Marrakech-Safi, 740 in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 664 in Fez-Meknes, 549 in Daraa-Tafilalet, 427 in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 175 in the Oriental region, 85 in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 52 in Souss Massa, 39 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 4 in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 2 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
