163 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,382, the health Ministry announced.
In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 46,718 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 182, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 1,969.
The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 1,405 in Casablanca-Settat, 1,103 in Marrakech-Safi, 740 in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 685 in Fez-Meknes, 551 in Daraa-Tafilalet, 537 in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 175 in the Oriental region, 87 in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 52 in Souss Massa, 41 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 4 in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 2 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
