Morocco records 20 new confirmed coronavirus cases, 6,972 in total

20 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 6,972, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 92,367 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 193, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 3,890.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 29.85% in Casablanca-Settat, 18.49% in Marrakech-Safi, 13.93% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 13.77% in Fez-Meknes, 8.41% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.58% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.57% in the Oriental region, 1.61% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.10% in Souss Massa, 0.62% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.03 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
